Mission Esperanza is called to serve and bless the Cuban Open Bible Churches by feeding our Cuban brothers and sisters, training pastors and church leaders, funding and building churches and solar installations, and supporting the church organization.
The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, authoritative Word
of God and the final guide for faith, conduct, and ministry.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – who is holy,
loving, and sovereign over all creation.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross
as a sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in glory.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. All people are
separated from God by sin and are reconciled to Him only through repentance and faith in Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, regenerates the believer, and empowers followers of
Christ to live godly lives and serve effectively.
Human Dignity & Compassion
We believe all people are created in the image of God and have inherent worth. As followers of Christ,
we are called to love, serve, feed the hungry, care for the vulnerable, and bring hope to those in need.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ and the eternal hope of all who trust in Him.
The Mission of the Gospel
We believe the gospel is for all nations. Mission Esperanza exists to share the hope of Jesus Christ,
strengthen the Church, equip leaders, and serve communities, especially in Cuba.
Affirmation
This Statement of Faith reflects the core biblical convictions that guide Mission Esperanza’s leadership,
partnerships, and ministry work.
Partner with Mission Esperanza to live out these truths, bringing hope, help, and the love of Jesus to those who need it most.
